The Definition of Marketing:

Don't forget to visit my webpage for more info and quotes: www.spanishizer.com / info@spanishizer.com

Marketing is defined by the American Marketing Association as "the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large."[4] The term developed from the original meaning which referred literally to going to market with goods for sale. From a sales process engineering perspective, marketing is "a set of processes that are interconnected and interdependent with other functions" of a business aimed at achieving customer interest and satisfaction.[5]
Philip Kotler defines marketing as Satisfying needs and wants through an exchange process.[citation needed]
The Chartered Institute of Marketing defines marketing as "the management process responsible for identifying, anticipating and satisfying customer requirements profitably."[6] A similar concept is the value-based marketing which states the role of marketing to contribute to increasing shareholder value.[7] In this context, marketing can be defined as "the management process that seeks to maximize returns to shareholders by developing relationships with valued customers and creating a competitive advantage."[7]
Marketing practice tended to be seen as a creative industry in the past, which included advertisingdistribution and selling. However, because the academic study of marketing makes extensive use of social sciencespsychologysociologymathematicseconomicsanthropology and neuroscience, the profession is now widely recognized as a science,[8]allowing numerous universities to offer Master-of-Science (MSc) programs.[9]
The process of marketing is that of bringing a product to market, which includes these steps: broad market research; market targeting and market segmentation; determining distribution, pricing and promotion strategies; developing a communications strategy; budgeting; and visioning long-term market development goals.[10] Many parts of the marketing process (e.g. product designart directorbrand managementadvertisingcopywriting etc.) involve use of the creative arts.

What is Literary Translation?

Whether it is a book on Greek philosophy or a short story by an indie author, a good Literary Translator is what you need when the topic of the text is related to, mainly, the Human Sciences and General Knowledge. Literary Translators have a vast experience in dealing with texts in which the meaning given by the author is sometimes abstract, subtle or obscure. We are trained for that. A good Literary Translator is him / herself a good writer too. The translator knows what the author wants to say because he/she could have expressed it the same way. Behind every Literary Translator there is, usually, a good Writer or Copy-writer. So, now that you know the main functions of a Literary Translator, please feel free to contact me at your convenience so I can give you a free quote:  diego.m.carpio@gmail.com

What is a CAT Tool?

Don't forget to visit my page for more info and quotes www.spanishizer.com / info@spanishizer.com Computer-assisted translation , computer-aided translation  or  CAT  is a form of  language translation  in which a human translator uses  computer hardware  to support and facilitate the translation process. [1] Computer -assisted translation is sometimes called machine-assisted, or machine-aided translation (not to be confused with machine translation). The automatic machine translation systems available today are not able to produce high-quality translations unaided: their output must be edited by a human to correct errors and improve the quality of translation. Computer-assisted translation (CAT) incorporates that manual editing stage into the software, making translation an interactive process between human and computer.
